Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 7 tbsp cocoa
- 1,5 tsp leaven
- a pinch of salt
- 3 tsp red food dye
- 200 ml non-fat cream
- 1,5 cup of vegetable oil
- 300 g (10,5 oz) wheat flour
- 300 g (10,5 oz) powdered sugar
Cream
- 120 g (4 oz) dairy butter
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 300 g (10,5 oz) cottage cheese
Cooking
Combine flour, powdered sugar, cocoa, leaven, eggs, vegetable oil, and salt in a bowl. Stir everything carefully. Then add sour cream and mix the ingredients. Add the red food dye. Whip the mass with the help of a mixer. It should get a thick consistency. Set aside the dough for half an hour.
Grease a baking tray with dairy butter. Transfer the dough there. Bake the cake at 180-200°C (356-392°F) for 35 – 45 minutes. Let the cake cool for 3 minutes and then transfer is to a serving plate.
Cut the crust into two parts. Let them cool completely. The fold the crusts in a food wrap and place them in a fridge.
Let’s make cream. Combine cottage cheese, dairy butter, and powdered sugar. Whip the mass with a blender.
Grease the crusts with the prepared cream and put them one above another. The cake is done!
