- 1 carrot
- 1 bulb onion
- 30 g (1 oz) ginger root
- 300 g (10,5 oz) chicken
- black ground pepper – to taste
- bay leaves – to taste
- salt – to taste
Wash chicken thoroughly, cut it into medium pieces, and place the meat in a pan. Pour the chicken with water and bring the water to boil. Peel a bulb onion and carrot. Wash and peel them. Add the vegetables to the pan. Peel a ginger root and add them to the soup. Season the soup with salt and black ground pepper. Boil the chicken until done. Add bay leaves to the pan in 15 minutes before the end of boiling. Remove the vegetables and ginger root.
