Vegetable and Meat Stew

This amazingly tender pork and beef stew is packed with loads of chunky root vegetables such as a carrot, eggplant, and marrow squash.

This stew is very comforting and cozy. Plus, the recipe is rather easy and it will not take much of your time.

This is the ideal solution for a family dinner or some party with friends.

All your relatives and guests will have a full belly.


  • 1 carrot
  • 1 eggplant
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 bulb onion
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 marrow squash
  • 250 g (1/2 lb) beef
  • 250 g (1/2 lb) pork
  • vegetable oil (for stewing)
  • 1/2 tsp black ground pepper
  • salt – to taste


Wash, peel, and dice a carrot, eggplant, and marrow squash. Peel a bulb onion and garlic, cut the ingredients finely. Chop beef and pork. Add bay leaves and black ground pepper. Adjust salt to your taste.

Preheat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Add all the prepared ingredients. Pour some water above, cover the lid and stew the ingredients until done.
