Dessert “chestnuts”


  • 500 g curds
  • 100 g walnuts
  • 7 tbsp semolina
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp dairy butter
  • 1 glass sunflower oil
  • 1 glass breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • salt – to taste


Combine curds, semolina, and dairy butter. Add grated with sugar and salt egg. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and leave them for 30 minutes until semolina swells.

Roll the balls from the cooked mass. Put in the centre of each ball 1/4 of the walnut. Coat the balls with breadcrumbs and fry them on sunflower oil until they get a golden color.

Powder the “chestnuts” with chopped walnuts before serving.
