Cooking a moist burger with turkey and vegetables is easy. The recipe just has one secret – a special combination of ingredients, which makes the burger irresistibly tempting. Better still, this turkey burger is much leaner, cheaper, and healthier than hamburger.
Of course, we’ll have to use a whole cucumber, tomato, and onion. This recipe is for one hamburger, so you may use remaining ingredients to cook the second burger.
- 1 bun
- 2 lettuce leaves
- 2 tomato slices
- 3 parsley twigs
- 3 cucumber slices
- 3 circles of red onion
- 3 slices of hard cheese
- mayonnaise – to taste
- ketchup – to taste
For turkey patty
- 50 ml milk
- 1/4 of bulb onion
- 200 g (7 oz) turkey
- 70 g (2,5 oz) white bread
- vegetable oil – for frying
Put bread in a bowl, and pour milk above. Set aside for a while to let the bread soak in milk.
Put ground turkey in a separate bowl. Season it with salt and pepper. Combine the minced meat with an egg. Then put a peeled and chopped bulb onion (it will make our patty moist). At the end add bread and stir everything until smooth.
Preheat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Take one ball of minced meat, put it in the pan and shape in the form of a chop with the help of a spoon. Fry from both sides until crisp and golden.
Wash all vegetables, lettuce leaves, and parsley. Slice a tomato and cucumber. Peel a red onion and cut it into circles.
The burger is almost done. The only thing we need to do is to cover it with the second half of the bun. Drum roll and voila! Juicy, flavorful, and incredibly mouth-watering burger is waiting for you to eat it!
P.S. Eat the burger at once, whilst the patty is hot and cheese is melted!)
Enjoy your meal!
