Pan Fried Potatoes With Green Peas & Bacon

We offer you the recipe of delicious fried potatoes, which are tender inside and well browned on the outside.

Your family members or guests will not resist the temptation of flavorful fries with crispy onion. This dish is very simple, commonly used and nourishing, that’s why it has so many followers. It can be served with sour cabbage, pickled cucumbers or hot tomato sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 bulb onion
  • 200 g (7 oz) ham
  • 1 glass green peas
  • 455 g (1 lb) potato
  • 1/2 spring onion bunch
  • 4 tbsp refined sunflower oil

Cooking

Wash potatoes, pour with water and boil the potatoes in their skins. Cook them until soft, but not mushy.

Peel a carrot and cut it into circles. Preheat 1 tbsp sunflower oil in a frying pan and brown the carrot for 5 minutes. Then add green peas and pour 3-4 spoons of water. Cover the pan with a lid and stew the ingredients for 5-7 minutes. Set the pan aside. Peel a bulb onion and slice it. Peel the boiled potatoes and cut them into quarters. Take another frying pan and preheat 3 tbsp of sunflower oil there. Toast the potatoes slightly. Add the onion and diced bacon. Cook 3 minutes more. Then add the carrot and green peas. Fry the ingredients for 5 minutes, stirring continuously. Salt the dish, top with chopped spring onion and serve immediately!
