Pear and orange compote



  • 1/2 glass of honey
  • 1/4 glass of sugar
  • 2 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 8 pears
  • 4 little oranges
  • 1 lemon
  • cloves
  • mint leaves


Combine honey, sugar, lemon juice, cloves and 4 glasses of water in a big pan. Peel pears. Cut off the cores. Put pears in a pan. Bring to boil. Cover the pan with a lid and boil drink over low heat for 10-20 minutes. Place pears in a dish.

Peel oranges. Place them in the pan where you boiled pears. Bring to boil compote and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add oranges to the pears.

Boil drink for 5 minutes more. Pour it on the fruits. Cool and put in the fridge for no less than 3 hours. Filter compote and serve.
