Pork and beef meatballs

These tender and soft meatballs will melt in your mouth. Accroding to this recipe the rissoles are fried at first and then they are stewed in a tomato sauce. The combination of beef and pork imparts the dish some special flavour.

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup broth
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 3 medium bulb onions
  • 200 g (7 oz) ground beef
  • 200 g (7 oz) pork mince
  • 2 slices of white bread
  • vegetable oil (for frying)
  • black ground pepper – to taste
  • salt – to taste

Cooking

Soak slices of bread in milk. Boil eggs, peel and chop them. Combine ground beef and pork mince. Add the bread and the eggs. Adjust salt and pepper to your taste, mix the mass thoroughly. Shape the meatballs with your hands and coat the rissoles in flour. Preheat vegetable oil and fry the meatballs until golden.

Peel onions and cloves of garlic. Chop the ingredients. Add finely cut tomatoes and broth. Stir everything and stew over low heat for 15 minutes. Then cool this mass a little and mince it.

Transfer the meatballs in the prepared sauce, warm up the dish and serve it.
