Potato cookies with salted pork fat


  • 10 potatoes
  • 1 bulb onion
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp of flour
  • 5 tbsp of lard
  • salt – to taste


  • 80 g of salted pork fat
  • 2 bulb onions


Peel and grate potatoes. Wring them out. Add flour, salt, eggs, and fried bulb onion. Mix everything properly.


Cube salted pork fat, fry it slightly with finely cut bulb onion.

Form cookies from the potato mass. Place the stuffing in the centre of each cookie. Join the edges and fry them slightly, Then put cookies in the oven and bake them.

Serve potato cookies with sour cream.
