Potato “sausages”


  • 1 kg potato
  • 1egg
  • 3 tbsp lard
  • 2.5 tbsp starch
  • 2 tbsp dairy butter
  • salt – to taste
  • parsley – to taste


Peel potatoes and boil them in slightly salted water. Mash potatoes. Add starch, whipped egg, finely cut parsley and mix the ingredients properly. Place the dough on a board and roll in into the plait accurately (with 1.5 cm diameter). Cut the plait into “sausages” with 12-15 cm length. Fry them on the heated lard. Pour cooked “sausages” with melted dairy butter and decorate them with parsley.
