Rabbit in white wine with vegetables


  • 300 g of rabbit
  • 200 g of smoked brisket
  • 2 bulb onions
  • 2 sweet peppers
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 glass of chicken broth
  • 1/2 glass of dry white wine
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 5 tbsp of sunflower oil
  • 100 g of prunes
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1 pinch of black ground pepper
  • salt – to taste


Slice rabbit. Salt and pepper it. Slice smoked brisket, fry it on sunflower oil, add rabbit and fry until the meat gets golden color. Add cut bulb onion and sliced garlic. Fry the ingredients 5-7 minutes more. Pour broth and wine. Stew the ingredients for about 20 minutes.

Scald tomatoes, peel and cube them. Slice peppers and cut prunes. Add vegetables to meat and stew. Add bay leaf and coriander at the end of stewing.

Serve rabbit with vegetables and cooked sauce.
