Raisin cake



  • 3 glasses of flour
  • 3 glasses of sugar
  • 3 glasses of almond
  • 10 yolks
  • 3 glasses of raisins
  • caster sugar


Pestle almonds with sugar. Place them in a kettle with oval bottom, add flour and frothed whites piecemeal. When the mass becomes crumb, add raisins. Stir with a spoon thoroughly and place the pastry in a baking tray. Bake over medium heat.

Powder the cake with caster sugar before serving.
