Roasted chicken with orange sauce

Today we have one more wonderful recipe of a baked chicken. The savor of this dish lies in a sweetish taste, a piquant flavor and a brown crackling. If you need to treat your guests and don’t have much time, then the chicken with orange sauce is a good idea. Besides, you will pleasantly surprised by the easiness of the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 4 oranges
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 3 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 1 kg (2,2 lb) chicken thighs
  • salt – to taste
  • black ground pepper – to taste

Cooking

Rinse chicken thighs and dry them. Rub the meat with salt and pepper carefully. Put it in a medium pan.

Wash 3 oranges, remove the skin and white pith. Squeeze the juice.

Next, add grated orange zest, some juice, vegetable oil and paprika to the pan. Mix everything properly and refrigerate the chicken for 2 hours (it is better to marinade for 8-10 hours). Turn over the chicken from time to time.

Place the meat in a roasting pan. Pour the marinade over the thighs. Put the chicken in an oven and roast until cooked through, about 30-40 minutes.

Peel the remaining orange and extract juice. In 10-12 minutes before the end of baking, pour the orange juice in the roaster. Transfer the warm chicken to serving plates and spoon with the remaining juice above.

Enjoy your meal!
