Shrimps in a lemon-garlic sauce

Today we make a quick, easy and fragrant hot appetizer – yummy fried shrimps. In order to impart the dish more interesting taste, we will serve it with a piquant sauce. A lemon and garlic will give our prawns a pungent flavour. Let’s begin!


  • 2 lemon slices
  • 1/2 bulb onion
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp dairy butter
  • 500 g (1,1 lb) shrimps
  • 1/4 tsp black ground pepper


Rinse, peel and devein shrimps. Peel an onion and cloves of garlic. Preheat dairy butter and olive oil in a big skillet. Sauté the onion with garlic for 3 minutes. When the ingredients become soft and translucent, stir in the shrimps and gently toss to combine. Fry everything for 4 minutes. Then add lemon juice and pepper. Mixr the mass and continue to cook about 4 minutes until the prawns are pink.

Transfer the dish to a serving plate, decorate with lemon slices and take food at once.
