Bananas in caramel


  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp starch
  • 3 tbsp wheat flour
  • 300 g sunflower oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame


Cube bananas. Combine egg, starch, flour, 1 tbsp of sunflower oil, and water. Mix the mass carefully. Heat 1 glass of sunflower oil on the frying pan thoroughly. Dip each piece of banana in the batter and fry it on the sunflower oil for 1.5 minutes. Place the fruits on the paper towel in order to let the fat trickle down.
Heat 1 tbsp of sunflower oil on the clean frying pan. Add sugar and dissolve the ingredients slightly with water. Boil the mass until you get caramel. Place the bananas in the caramel. Powder them with sesame and serve.
