Cherry chocolate dessert

This chocolate dessert with cherries and black currants is for genuine lovers of good food. It has a specific chocolate aftertaste with a bit of sourness and a barely perceptible flavor of cinnamon.

Ingredients:

  • 1 glass of berry fruit-drink / berry juice
  • 1 glass of water
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 glass of black currants
  • 1,5 glass of cherries without stones
  • 50 g dark chocolate
  • 60 g (0,13 lb) starch
  • a pinch of cinnamon
  • a pinch of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp dairy butter
  • 1 tbsp cornflour

Cooking

Wash lemon and squeeze juice. Combine berry fruit-drink or berry juice, water, lemon juice and sugar. Bring the mixture to boil. Add black currants and boil everything. Next place the prepared mass in a blender and whip it. Filter the mass and pour it in another pan. Bring the dessert to boil again. Add dairy butter and chopped chocolate. Stir until the chocolate melts. Add cinnamon and vanilla sugar. Mix the ingredients again.

Dissolve starch in cold water and add it to the pan continuously stirring the mass. Cook the dessert over low heat. Place the cherries to the pan. Stir everything and boil until the cherries will be cooked. Then cool the dessert and pour out the sweet course in the coupes.

Tip! You may also add white wine. The wine will boil down and add terrific zest to the dessert.

Also you can use frozen berries instead of fresh ones. The proposed ingredients can be substituted with raspberries and cranberries which have a unique taste when concocted with chocolate.
