Chicken, cucumber, bell pepper, and cheese salad

 

There’s nothing wrong in making variations on the dishes we know and love. Today we are going to make something special using simple ingredients, we will cook a chicken, cheese, and vegetable salad.

This salad is a creative and unusual idea to impress your guests and family. It is cooked in the form of a maple leaf which reminds about the autumn that has already come. Such serving will like both children and adults.

Tender chicken fillet and vegetables, tossed and mixed in black pepper, salt, and a generous dose of sour cream. A cucumber imparts this salad a cool crunch while hard cheese gives it tenderness. Try this dish as a light dinner. It will be a great solution.

In addition, the recipe is easy and therefore salad can be cooked rather quickly. So, if you need to get dinner on the table pronto, then this recipe is just right for you.

This salad is also healthy. Containing just boiled meat and vegetables, it is seasoned with sour cream.

Ingredients:

  • 2 dill twigs
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup of sour cream
  • 200 g (7 oz) chicken fillet
  • 100 g (3,5 oz) hard cheese
  • black ground pepper – to taste
  • salt – to taste

Cooking

Boil chicken fillet, cool the meat and cut it into medium cubes. Rinse and peel a cucumber. Dice the vegetable. Combine the chicken and cucumber in a bowl. Cut hard cheese and add it to the bowl. Dress the salad with sour cream. Adjust salt and black ground pepper to your taste. Stir everything carefully.

Wash and core a bell pepper. Cut the vegetable finely. Arrange the salad on a plate in the form of a maple leaf. Arrange the bell pepper above neatly. Decorate the salad with dill twigs.
