Hoidanka – is a traditional Ukrainian dish. Its recipe has come from our forefathers.


  • 400 g corn meal
  • 1/2 l (liter) of milk
  • cinnamon – to taste
  • sugar – to taste


Pour milk in a pan and bring it to boil. Remove from heat. Add corn meal and some sugar to the pan. Whip the ingredients until smooth and puffed. Then bring the mass to boil again and cook it until done. Pour hoidanka in serving bowls. Top it with cinnamon before serving.
