Honey Apple Pie

Today we are going to cook an everyday pie. Why do we call it everyday? Because you can make it without any cause or reason, on weekdays, when you want to serve something tasty and sweet. Once you taste this juicy, succulent and at the same time crispy pie, you will cook it over and over again. You can bake this dessert quickly since it has a very easy recipe. One more plus is that you can cook this pie both in winter and summer because its main ingredients such as apples and honey are available all year round.


  • 5 eggs
  • 5-6 apples
  • 1/4 tsp soda
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2-3 tbsp sour cream
  • dairy butter (for greasing)
  • 100 g curds (cottage cheese)
  • salt – to taste


Combine eggs, soda, flour, sugar, honey, and sour cream. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until you get a homogeneous mass. Its consistency should not be too thick and too liquid.

Wash and peel apples. Cut them into medium pieces. Combine 1/3 part of the apples with the dough. At the end mix the dough with the cottage cheese.

Grease a baking tray with dairy butter. Arrange the remaining part of the apples there. Transfer the cooked dough above. Bake the pie in a preheated oven over medium heat for 45 minutes.
