- 1 kg bulb onion
- 1 beetroot
- wine vinegar
- salt – to taste
- black ground pepper – to taste
Slice bulb onions and pour them with boiling water. Place the ingredients in a jar. Put cut beetroot at the bottom of the jar, then place bulb onion, then beetroot in the middle of the jar, then bulb onion again and beetroot at the top. Combine water and wine vinegar with proportion 1:1. Pour the liquid in the jar. Add salt and pepper.
Place the jar in the fridge for twenty-four hours.

Tip! If you want to cook marinated bulb onion for shish kebab, then use the wine vinegar and do not substitute it with anyone else.
