Turkey and pork cutlets

These tender pork and turkey cutlets cooked with just a few ingredients are so delicious that it is hardly ever possible to resist the temptation. They will be eaten in just minutes. Turkey meat imparts the dish tenderness while pork meat gives the cutlets juiciness. Nothing extra, just meat, egg, and bread for softness. Seasoned with salt and pepper, the cutlets have simple yet so good taste. We will cover the cutlets in flour to make them yummy and crispy without making them greasy. One more advantage of this dish is that it can be easily doubled.


  • 1 egg
  • 1 bulb onion
  • 2 slices of bread
  • flour (for coating)
  • vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 350 g (12 oz) minced pork
  • 350 g (12 oz) minced turkey
  • black ground pepper – to taste
  • red ground pepper – to taste
  • salt – to taste


Peel and wash a bulb onion. Chop the onion finely.Combine minced pork and turkey with the onion. Add an egg and stir the mass carefully. Tear bread into pieces and soak it with water, then add to the mass. Adjust salt, black and red ground pepper to your taste. Mix everything thoroughly.

Preheat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Shape a ball from the meat mass and coat the cutlet with flour. Put the cutlet in the pan. Repeat the procedure until you use all the minced meat. Fry the cutlets from one side till golden brown. Turn the cutlets over and fry the other side until cooked through.

Transfer the prepared cutlets to a plate. Serve them hot with some vegetable salad and mashed potatoes, noodles, buckwheat, whatever you prefer more.
