This sweet dessert is so easy to make that even your children can handle to cook it. So, if you don’t have much time for cooking, ask your kids to help you. They will enjoy a simple and entertaining recipe and before you know it, your children will propose you to try baked apples.
This dessert is healthy since it includes baked apples which preserve all the useful vitamins. In addition, we will use a fresh berry syrup to cook jelly. As you see this dish has only natural components.
- 20 ml water
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 50 ml berry syrup
- 200 g (7 oz) apples
- 15 g (1/2 oz) gelatin
- 15 g (1/2 oz) powdered sugar
Dissolve gelatin in water and combine with berry syrup. Stir the mixture carefully and bring it to boil. Then set aside the cooked jelly to let it cool.
Rinse apples. Cut them into halves. Remove the cores. Place the apples on a baking sheet covered with foil. Pour some water in a baking sheet and bake the apples. Then cool the fruits and pour into the center of each apple half the boiled jelly. Refrigerate the dessert until the jelly set. Top the apples with powdered sugar before serving.
