Cinnamon Cookies

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp soda
  • 2,5 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 200 ml sour cream
  • 200 g (7 oz) dairy butter


Grind eggs with sugar. Add soft dairy butter, sour cream, and water. Mix the ingredients and add flour gradually. Stir everything well. Knead the dough and refrigerate it.

Roll the prepared dough on a floured surface, the layer thickness of the dough should be 5 mm. Cut out cookies in any desired shape. Sprinkle them with sugar and cinnamon. Set cookies 1-inch apart on a baking sheet greased with dairy butter and bake them at 220-240°C (428 – 464°F) till the edges are lightly browned. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool.
