  • 6 tbsp honey
  • 6 tbsp ketchup
  • 12 chicken wings
  • fresh parsley twigs (for decoration)
  • ground black pepper – to taste
  • salt – to taste

Wash chicken wings under running water, drain and dab them with paper towels until completely dry. Rub the meat with salt and ground black pepper. In a bowl, combine ketchup and honey. Then grease the chicken wings with the mixture of ketchup and honey.

Arrange the chicken wings on a rack set (in a baking pan covered with foil) in a single layer, close to one another but not touching.

Put the chicken wings in the preheated oven and bake them at 200°C (392°F) for about 35 – 45 minutes, depending on the size of the wings. During the baking process turn them once.

Keep an eye on the wings, they should soak up all the goodness of the honey and become juicy and at the end get browned on each side but not burned).

Serve these lip-smacking, sticky chicken wings hot, topped with fresh parsley twigs.

Enjoy your meal!
