Honey cake

Start your day with a sweet honey cake topped with powdered sugar. Treat yourself with delicious bakery and keep a cheerful frame of mind all the day.


  • 100 g (0,22 lb) flour
  • 200 g (0,44 lb) honey
  • 200 g (0,44 lb) sugar
  • 2 yolks
  • 1 egg
  • 200 g (0,44 lb) walnuts
  • 100 g (0,22 lb) sunflower oil
  • 5 g soda
  • 50 g (0,11 lb) sour cream
  • powdered sugar

Hard sauce

  • 200 g (0,44 lb) sour cream
  • 200 g (0,44 lb) sugar
  • 150 g (0,33 lb) dairy butter


Combine flour, honey, sugar, yolks, eggs, chopped nuts, soda, sunflower oil and sour cream. Mix the ingredients and knead dough. It shouldn’t be tight. Place the dough in a fridge for 5 hours.

After pour the dough in a bundt pan greased with dairy butter and topped with flour. Bake the cake till golden brown and well-risen at medium temperature. Check whether the cake is ready inserting a skewer (the skewer should come out clean).

Cool the honey cupcake for 10 minutes and then invert it onto a platter.

Whisk together sour cream, sugar and dairy butter thoroughly. Grease the dessert with the prepared hard sauce. Top the cake with powdered sugar. Slice the dessert and enjoy.
