Flavorful cakes

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of flour
  • 3 cups of sugar
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 lemon
  • 12 g of caster sugar
  • 1 g of soda
  • 1 g of cinnamon
  • almonds – to taste
  • dairy butter (for greasing)

Cooking

Combine 1/3 cup of water and sugar, mix everything and boil the syrup. Then add the ground lemon rind and boil the mass until it sets.

Cool the mass a little, add caster sugar and soda that is already mixed with sugar, cinnamon, and ground almonds. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and stir in flour gradually. Knead the pastry. Whisk the pastry from time to tine during 90 minutes.

Take a cake pan and grease it with dairy butter. Pour out the pastry there and bake our cakes.

Then powder the cakes with caster sugar and serve.
