Vinegret with Mushrooms


Learn how to make this colorful and nutritious beetroot salad. It tastes as stunning as it looks. The recipe for vinegret features such healthy ingredients as carrot, potato, and onion. Here boiled vegetables are perfectly combined with pickled cucumber, sour cabbage, and marinated mushrooms, which adds savoriness to the salad.

You can enjoy this sophisticated salad on its own or you may serve it with some meat/fish dish.


  • 1 carrot
  • 1 potato
  • 1/2 bulb onion
  • 1 medium beetroot
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1-2 tbsp sour cabbage
  • 1/2 pickled cucumber
  • 10 marinated mushrooms
  • salt – to taste


Wash a potato, carrot, and beetroot. Boil, peel, and cube the vegetables. Chop a pickled cucumber. Peel and slice a bulb onion. Cut sour cabbage finely. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Dress the salad with vegetable oil and season it with salt. Top the vinegret with marinated mushrooms before serving.
