Sunny Salad

IMG_1341 The New Year has already come and we continue to celebrate, to take in guests and cook tasty dishes. Let’s start the 2016 year with new, interesting, and exciting recipes. If you are ready to make experiments, then don’t hold back to try this wonderful salad.

The salad has an easy combination of simple ingredients and as a result we’ll get a bright and appetizing dish. We are going to combine chicken, mushrooms, carrots, eggs, and cheese. You’ll be amazed how these ingredients perfectly match each other. In addition, the recipe is time-saving.

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 potatoes
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 100 g (3.5 oz) hard cheese
  • 500 g (1,1 lb) champignons
  • black ground pepper – to taste
  • mayonnaise – to taste
  • salt – to taste

Cooking

Peel, wash, and slice champignons thinly. Fry the mushrooms for 15 minutes. Set them aside for a while. Boil chicken breasts until done. Then cool and chop the meat finely. Boil potatoes and carrots until done. Peel the vegetables. Dice potatoes and chop 1 carrot finely. Cut the second carrot into circles. Hard-boil eggs, peel, and chop them.

Take a serving plate and arrange the potato and carrot there. Season them with salt and pepper. Grease the potato with mayonnaise. Arrange the champignons above evenly. Put the eggs above the mushrooms and grease them with mayonnaise. Adjust salt and pepper to your taste. Then next layer is the chicken. Top the salad with grated cheese. Decorate the salad with the carrot circles.
