The dish is rather nourishing while contains fish and many vegetables. The ingredients stewed in red wine have a special flavour. If you want to cook something unusual for dinner, then follow the recipe and and cook delicious bonito stewed with vegetables and red wine.
- 300-500 g (0,66 lb – 1,1 lb) bonito
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 700 g (1,54 lb) potato
- 1 bulb onion
- 2 medium carrots
- 2 parsley roots
- 1 celery root
- a bay leaf
- salt – to taste
- black ground pepper – to taste
- parsley – to taste
- dill – to taste
- 3-4 tbsp red wine
Peel carrots, parsley roots, a bulb onion and a celery root. Slice the ingredients. Preheat vegetable oil in a roasting pan and fry the ingredients slightly. Bring water to boil at the same time. Place scalded and cut fish above the vegetables. Put peeled and chopped potatoes above. Pour everything with boiling water. Next add wine, salt, pepper and a bay leaf. Place the dish in an oven. The water should cover the potato slightly. Stew the ingredients till done.
Top the dish with chopped parsley and dill before serving.
