Meatballs in Apple Sauce

Meatballs are sure to be a big hit in almost every home. These beef meatballs can become a good idea as a wholesome dinner for your family since they are very nourishing and appetizing. The sauce is easy and quick to make but it tastes really delicious. Everything we will need to do is to combine apple and garlic mixture with a broth. The meatballs soaked in this sauce will get a piquant flavor, soft texture, and amazingly good taste.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 350 ml broth
  • 60 g (2 oz) bun
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 parsley bunch
  • 200 g sweet-sour apples
  • 500 g (1,1 lb) ground beef
  • 300 g (10,5 oz) bulb onion
  • sunflower oil (for frying)
  • black ground pepper – to taste
  • mustard – to taste
  • salt – to taste

Cooking

Cut a bun into medium pieces and soak it in a broth. Peel bulb onions and dice them. Rinse parsley and chop it finely. Combine ground beef, parsley, bulb onion, black ground pepper, mustard, and salt in a bowl. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.

Shape the prepared mass into meatballs. Preheat sunflower oil in a frying pan and fry the meatballs until golden.

Rinse apples, peel and chop them. Peel garlic cloves and squeeze them. Mix the ingredients and fry the mass on a separate griddle. Then add the broth, salt, and pepper. Mix everything carefully. Add flour gradually, stirring the sauce continiously.

Pour the prepared sauce above the fried meatballs and set them aside for half an hour.
