Pepper, Green Peas and Rice Salad

This bright salad is not only nourishing but also useful. It is a perfect solution for those who eat healthy food because it contains fresh vegetables such as sweet pepper and green peas, as well as rice, and eggs. Besides, the salad dressing includes table vinegar and vegetable oil. As you see, the ingredients of the dish are non-caloric and they make the perfect combination together.   • 2 eggs
  • 20 ml table vinegar
  • 30 ml vegetable oil
  • 120 g (4 oz) white rice
  • 200 g (7 oz) green peas
  • 200 g (7 oz) red sweet pepper
  • black ground pepper – to taste
  • salt – to taste


Rinse sweet peppers, dry them and place on a baking sheet greased with oil. Bake them in an oven until soft and tender. Then peel the peppers and slice them thinly.

Wash rice thoroughly. Pour water in a pan and bring it to boil. Add salt and the rice. Boil it until done.

Toss the pepper, rice and green peas together. Adjust salt and pepper to your taste. Mix the ingredients and dress the salad with the combination of vinegar and vegetable oil. Stir the salad components.

Hard boil eggs, peel them and cut in half. Transfer the prepared salad to a serving plate. Decorate it with the egg slices.
