“Pliatsok” with jam

“Pliatsok ” – is a short pastry pie. You can cook it with jam or preserve – whatever you like. In any case – it will be tasty. But the most important thing here is decoration. We will grate the paste above jam. As a result – we get a rather original and delicious pie.

Ingredients:

  • 200 g (7 oz) dairy butter/margarine
  • 200 g (7 oz) sugar
  • a pinch of vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 640-800 g (22-28 oz) flour
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 200 ml jam

Cooking

Put dairy butter or margarine in a pan and melt. Add sugar, mix the mass and cool it a little. Then add eggs, vanillin and stir everything. Combine 4 glasses of flour with baking powder, add to the pan and mix properly. The pastry should not stick to your hands. You can add one glass of flour more if necessary.

Divide the paste into 2 parts: one part bigger (2/3 of the whole paste), another – smaller (1/3 part). Place the smaller part in a plastic bag and leave in a freezer for 45 minutes.

Place baking paper above a baking sheet. Roll out the pastry and transfer it to the sheet. Pour jam above the pastry. Take the smaller part of the pastry from the fridge and grate it. Arrange it above the jam.

Bake the pie in an oven at 200°C for 30 minutes.

Enjoy your meal!
