Rusks enrobed with fondant



  • 400 g bun
  • sunflower oil
  • Fondant:
  • 2 whites of the egg
  • 1 glass of powdered sugar
  • 1/2 lemon


Cut the bun into thin slices and place them in an oven. Bake the bun till crisp. Then sprinkle it with oil and cook in the oven 1 minute more.


Mix whites of the egg with powdered sugar. Then add lemon juice and whip the mass with a wooden spoon until it becomes thick. Grease the rusks with fondant, put on a platter and leave them for slight drying.

Serve the enrobed rusks with tea and coffee.
