Vegetable sheep

ovechka-iz-cvetnoy-kapustyA nice cauliflower sheep will become a good garnish for the New Year table. By the help of this cauliflower, potato, carrot, and cucumber appetizer you can make the accompaniment of salads and hotplates. Children will be elated because of this cute beastie. Note that the ingredients for this dish are vegetables. Such components correspond to the symbolic of the year 2015. It is deemed that on the table should be the dishes which contain vegetables and culinary plants.

Ingredients:

  • a head of cauliflower
  • 1/2 potato
  • 2 slices of carrot
  • 1/2 of cucumber
  • 1 olive
  • 1/2 tsp of mayonnaise
  • 5 toothpicks

Cooking

Wash cauliflower and cut little holes for the “legs” and the “head” of the sheep. Make little cuts for the “ears”.

Cut the cucumber into 4 thick circles. Boil potato, peel it and cut the “head” from the vegetable. Cut two thin oval “ears” from the carrot slices.

Fix the “legs” and the “head” with the cauliflower by the help of the toothpicks. Put the “ears” in the cuts. Cut the “eyes” and the “smellers” from the olive. Fix them on the “head” of the sheep by the help of mayonnaise.
