Pliatsok “Morning dew”

Surprise kith and kin with this amazing cake with vanillin, chocolate, and coconut flakes. The recipe is optimized for the baking cups with 22 – 30 cm size.

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 white of the egg
  • 2 glasses of flour
  • 200 g (0,44 lb) sugar
  • 200 g (0,44 lb) dairy butter
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp leaven
  • 5 g (0,01 lb) vanillin
  • 250 g (0,55 lb) curd
  • 8 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 150 g (0,33 lb) sour cream
  • 1 yolk
  • 200 g (0,44 lb) cream
  • 20 g (0,04 lb) chocolate

Cooking

Let’s cook the curd “globules” at first. Combine curd, a yolk, sugar (50 g) and coconut flakes. If you use colorful chip coconut than then the “globules” will have an interesting tint. Mix everything carefully and roll the “globules” of equal size. They shouldn’t be bigger than a walnut. Place the curd “globules in a fridge for 1 hour.

Beat butter with sugar (50 g) slightly. After add whipped white of 3 eggs and sour cream. Combine flour, leaven and vanillin. Sift the ingredients and mix them with the prepared mixture.

Separate the dough in half. Add milk and sifted cocoa to one part of the dough.

Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the white dough there. Then spread the chocolate dough above.

Get the curd pellets out of the fridge and deep them in the cake. Place them at regular intervals. Bake pliatsok at 180°C (392 F) for 40 minutes. Then check ready by the help of a toothpick whether the cake is ready and cool it.

Whip sugar (100 g) and cream. Grease pliatsok with the prepared hard sauce. After top it with grated chocolate and serve.
