Sausage toad in the hole

Ingredients:

  • 500 g of flaky dough
  • 300 g of sausages
  • lettuce leaves – to taste
  • fresh dill – to taste

Cooking

Slice flaky dough into strips. The breadth of a strip should be approximately 2-3 cm.

Cut sausage into circles. Then cut each circle in half. Put 3-4 slices of the sausage above each strip of the dough. The pieces of sausage should slightly peep out. Twist the dough strips into rolls. Turn up the end of dough to get roses.

Heat the oven to 180°C. Place baking paper on a tray, put the appetizer above and bake it for 20 minutes.

Arrange lettuce leaves and dill on a plate. Then put the sausages toad in the hole above and serve.
