Apricot pie

We offer the recipe of a light dessert for those who like apricots. What can be better than a an apricot pie topped with nuts? The bakery is tasty, healthy, and appetizing.


  • 200 ml milk
  • 300 g (0,66 lb) flour
  • 120 g (0,26 lb) dairy butter
  • 250 g (0,55 lb) sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 300-400 g (0,66 – 0,88 lb) apricots
  • a pinch of soda
  • a pinch of citric acid
  • a pinch of salt
  • nuts


Melt dairy butter a little. Then add eggs and whisk everything properly. Add milk, soda, salt, sugar, citric acid and sifted flour gradually. Stir the ingredients till you get a homogenous mass. Pour the prepared dough in a baking cup greased with dairy butter. Wash apricots, cut them in half and remove the stones. Place the apricots above the dough and top everything with powdered sugar. Bake the pie in the preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 30 minutes. Then top the pie with chopped nuts, set it aside to cool a little, and  then slice the dessert into portions.
