- 120 g (1/4 lb) dairy butter
- 120 g (1/4 lb) sugar
- 120 g (1/4 lb) flour
- 2 eggs
- 1-2 lemons
- a pinch of leaven
- 150 g (3/10 lb) powdered sugar
Peel lemon and grate the peel. Squeeze 1/2 of lemon in order to get the juice.
Warm dairy butter and mix it with sugar. After add 2 eggs gradually. Then stir in flour. Mix the ingredients properly. Add the lemon peel and juice. Stir everything again. After fold in leaven and knead the dough.
Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Transfer the dough there and spread it evenly.
Bake the pie in the preheated oven at 190°C (374°F) till golden brown (about 20 minutes).
Then cool the pie slightly and transfer it to a platter. Top the dessert with powdered sugar, cut it into portions and serve with herbal tea.
