Cabbage au gratin

The recipe for this fried cabbage is easy and time-saving. The content of vitamin C in cabbage is 1.5 – 2 times more than in potato. Thereunto a cabbage can keep vitamin C for a long time. It also stimulates metabolic processes, has antiphlogistic and analgesic actions.


  • 1-2 little heads of white cabbage
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 glass of rusk flour
  • garlic – to taste
  • ground black pepper – to taste
  • dried basil – to taste


Divide each head of cabbage into quarters. Bring water to boil in a pan and cook the cabbage till soft. Then cut each piece of cabbage on 4 parts more.

Crack eggs. Combine them with chopped garlic, pepper and dried basil. Mix the ingredients and whip them.

Dip the cabbage pieces into the mixture. Then bread them in rusk flour and fry until golden color all round.
