Liver, Beef and Chicken Pie

There is nothing like a properly cooked meat pie. Today we are going to bake a pie which includes beef, chicken, and liver. Thanks to the combination of various kinds of meat together with fresh vegetables, the pie has an amazing flavor and taste. In addition, it is really nourishing and rich. So, if you decide to bake it for a supper, you don’t need to cook some additional dishes. Plus, you can serve this pie to guests as well. Your relatives and friends will definitively like this succulent liver, beef and chicken pie.


  • 5 eggs
  • 3-4 carrots
  • 2 long loaves
  • 1/2 celery root
  • 1/2 parsley root
  • 1/2 l (liter) milk
  • 1/2 kg (1,1 lb) beef
  • 1/2 glass sour cream
  • 1/2 kg (1,1 lb) chicken
  • 1/2 kg (1,1 lb) bulb onion
  • 1/2 kg (1,1 lb) chicken liver
  • vegetable oil (for frying)
  • black ground pepper – to taste
  • caraway seeds – to taste
  • salt – to taste


Cut liver into pieces and stir-fry it slightly. Peel 250 g (1/2 lb) of bulb onions and chop them. Add the onion to the liver and stew the ingredients under a lid for 5 minutes.

Boil chicken and beef. Dice the cooked meat.

Peel carrots and chop them. Rinse celery and parsley. Cut the ingredients finely. Add the carrot and stew the mass on vegetable oil.

Peel remaining 250 g (1/2 lb) of bulb onions. Chop and fry the onion.

Dice long loaves and place the bread in a bowl with milk. Stir and set aside for a while.

Toss all the prepared ingredients together. Add eggs and caraway seeds. Adjust salt and pepper to your taste. Stir the mass thoroughly.

Cover a baking sheet with foil. Transfer the prepared mass there. Grease it with sour cream. Place the tray in an oven and bake our meat pie until done. Then let it cool a little, cut into portions and serve.
