Potato Flapjacks Stuffed with Ground Meat

Fans of cookery will evaluate this unusual recipe. I have already shared the recipes of various potato flapjacks with you. Today we are going to fry the potato flapjacks with a beef and pork filling which makes them more nourishing and delicious.

This dish is great any time of the day. The flapjacks go well with a breakfast, lunch or dinner. Plus, you can serve them the next day. Just try these potato flapjacks stuffed with meat and I’m sure you’ll simply love them.

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 100 ml milk
  • 2 bulb onions
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 tbsp wheat flour
  • 100 g minced pork
  • 100 g minced beef
  • 500 g (1,1 lb) potato
  • sour cream (for serving)
  • vegetable oil (for frying)
  • black ground pepper – to taste
  • salt – to taste

Cooking

Soak two slices of white bread in milk and set aside for a while. The pour out the extra liquid.

Peel bulb onions and chop them. Add the meat and the bread. Mix the ingredients and mince them. Stir in one egg. Salt and pepper the mass. Stir it properly and leave in a fridge for half an hour.

Peel potatoes and grate them finely. Set aside the potato for a while and then pour out the liquid. Stir in flour, salt, and egg.

Preheat oil in a griddle. Spoon the potato mass in the form of flapjacks. Fry them slightly and then spread the minced meat above evenly. Cover the pancakes with the potato mass and fry over medium heat until golden and crispy. Serve the potato flapjacks hot with a generous dollop of sour cream.
