Salad ‘Watermelon’

If you want to surprise your guests with a new, unusual, and yummy salad, then this recipe is just the ticket. Today you are going to find out how to put together simple ingredients and get a colorful and festive salad.

The salad includes vibrant vegetables and black olives combined with tender chicken fillet and hard cheese. The recipe is easy yet no less delicious.

Cook this bright meat and veggie salad and put the taste of summer on your table! All your guests will enjoy such a treat!

Ingredients:

  • 1 fresh tomato
  • 1 fresh cucumber
  • 1/2 tin of black olives
  • 100 g (3,5 oz) hard cheese
  • 100 g (3,5 oz) chicken fillet
  • mayonnaise – to taste

Cooking

Boil chicken fillet and dice it. Cut black olives into circles. Grate hard cheese. We’ll need some olives and cheese to decorate the salad. So set aside some cheese and olives.

Combine the chicken, cheese, and olives. Dress the ingredients with mayonnaise and mix them carefully.

Transfer the salad to a serving plate. Arrange the mass in the form of a watermelon slice. Set it aside for a while.

Wash a cucumber and a tomato. Peel the cucumber and grate it. Cut the tomato finely. Cut each olive into 4 parts lengthwise.

Arrange the tomato above the salad (see the picture). Then add the cheese and the cucumbers. Put the olives above the tomato. Our salad is ready for serving.
