- 1,5 kg (3,3 lb) spareribs
- 300 g (10,5 oz) prunes
- s couple of bay leaves
- salt – to taste
- black ground pepper – to taste
- sunflower oil (for frying)
Rinse spareribs, cut them into pieces along the bones. Soak the pieces of meat in water for a while. Dry the ribs and rub them with salt and pepper. Heat sunflower oil in a skillet and brown the meat on both sides. Place the spareribs in a pan. Add water and bay leaves. Cook the ingredients over low heat. Stew them for 1 hour. Add the washed prunes in 20 minutes before the end of cooking.
