- 300 g of cherries
- 200 g of sugar
- 1 l (liter) of water
- 60 g of starch
Wash cherries and take out stones. Add 100 g of sugar and leave the berries for 30 minutes. Then pour off the emerged juice.
Pour hot water over cherry stones and boil them properly. Filter the broth, throw out stones, add 100 g of sugar and the cherries. Boil the kissel for 15-20 minutes. Then dissolve starch in water. Add it to the pan. Mix everything properly and ladle the mixture in glasses or dessert bowls.
Put the dessert in a fridge until it thickens as jelly.
Powder kissel with sugar before serving.
