- 1 kg pike fillet
- 300 g fresh lard
- 1 big bulb onion
- 2 tbsp semolina
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 egg
- dried breadcrumbs / rolled oats for breading
- salt – to taste
- ground black pepper – to taste
Scale the fish and cut it into slices. Mince pike and lard. Grate the bulb onion or whip it with a blender, adding some water beforehand. Combine minced meat, semolina, egg, salt, and ground black pepper. Then shape the prepared mass in the form of cutlets, coat them with breadcrumbs or rolled oats. Fry the cutlets on a slow fire.
