Stewed beef and potato with tomato sauce


Try to cook the stewed beef and potato under tomato paste and serve your relatives as dinner. They will like this nourishing and piquant dish.


  • 500 g beef
  • 5 bulb onions
  • 3 pickled cucumbers
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 kg potato
  • 1 glass of beef broth
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • salt – to taste
  • ground black pepper – to taste
  • a bay leaf


Wash meat and cut it into sticks. Then fry the beef on preheated sunflower oil. Peel onions, cut them into semi-circles and add to the meat. Fry the ingredients till the onion becomes soft.

Add tomato paste, finely cut or grated cucumbers. Pour everything with broth and stew the ingredients until the meat will be completely cooked.

Peel potatoes, cut them into strips. Fry the potatoes in a separate frying pan for 30 minutes. Next add them to the pan with the stewed meat. Put salt, pepper, a bay leaf and squeezed garlic there. Mix the ingredients carefully and stew them for 5-7 minutes more.
