- 1 glass of kefir
- 4 glasses of wheat flour
- 3 eggs
- bilberry – to taste
- sugar – to taste
- a pinch of soda
- a pinch of salt
Combine kefir, eggs,soda, salt and wheat flour. Beat tight dough and cover it with a bowl for 30 minutes.
Cut a piece from the dough and roll it in the form of a sausage (diameter – 2 cm). Cut the “sausage” into pieces with 1 – 1.5 cm thickness each. Dip each piece into flour and roll it in the form of a round.
Put bilberries in the centre of each round. Join the edges dipping the fingers into flour previously. Make the same procedure with remaining portion of the dough.
Boil varenyky in slightly salted water for 10 minutes(after bringing up).
Powder varenyky with sugar or pour them with cream / sour cream / melted butter before serving.
