Let us present you the recipe of an amazingly tasty marmalade. Luscious, naturally sweetened and infused with flavor of carrot, lemon, orange, lime, and cinnamon, our jam tastes deliciously good. This marmalade has a piquant taste and bright orange color because of an unusual ingredient combination and will be especially evaluated by your children. This jam is also useful since it contains a lot of vitamins and elements which are neccessary for our body.
Perfect to spread on toasts, biscuits, scones, and muffins during a family snack or some tea party.
- 1 lime
- 1 lemon
- 1 orange
- 2.5 cup of sugar
- 1 kg (2,2 lb) carrot
- cinnamon – to taste
- a pinch of salt
Wash carrots, peel and dice them. Process the carrot in a food processor. Add zest and juice of a lemon, orange, and lime. Then add sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Stir all the ingredients together and transfer them to a pan.
Bring the mass to boil. Then simmer the jam over moderately high heat, stirring it continuously until it thickens and forms a sheet when poured from a spoon. Transfer the boiled jam to sterilized jars and cork them up.
