Vegetable and fruit smoothie become popular while they are salubrious and help in fight against overweight. However, remember two golden rules. If you have a small spoon for smoothie then you feel sated faster and if you cook smoothie for supper then you have more energy and less calories. Just try this tomato, bell pepper, and cucumber smoothie to see for yourself.
- 1 glass of tomato juice
- 1/2 bell pepper
- 100 g (0,22 lb) cucumber
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 spinach leaves
- 2 dill twigs
- salt – to taste
Cut a bell pepper and cucumbers into medium pieces. Chop spinach leaves and dill twigs. Place the prepared ingredients in a blender. Pour tomato juice. Season everything with salt. You may add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce instead of salt. Mix the ingredients for 40 seconds.
Add lemon juice to the prepared drink. The chopped spring onion may be added at will.
Pour the vegetable smoothie in glass tumblers. Decorate them with mint twigs.
