Tuna and Haricot Beans Salad

If you are looking for a light salad which looks as good as it tastes, then this mouthwatering salad is just what you need. The combination of canned tuna with haricot beans is classic and so easy. We are going to use a cucumber which will give a tangy crunch to the salad. The mustard, vinegar, and oil dressing will also add a special zest to the ingredients.

This salad is full of lunchtime goodness and can be served as light meal or side dish. One more advantage of this salad is that it takes minimum time for preparation.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 tin of tuna
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tin of haricot beans
  • 3 strips of spring onion
  • 2 tsp apple vinegar (3-4%)
  • black ground pepper – to taste

Cooking

Wash beans under running water. Rinse strips of spring onion and chop the onion finely. Wash a cucumber and dice it. Place the fish on a plate, remove the bones and cut the tuna into medium pieces. Mix the beans, onion, cucumber, and fish in a bowl.

Combine apple vinegar, mustard, and vegetable oil in a separate bowl. Mix everything carefully. Adjust black ground pepper to your taste. Add the dressing to the salad. Stir the ingredients thoroughly. Season the salad with salt and serve.
